Chiswick Park

I loved my work experience placement at 'Enjoy work'! I felt so lucky to have been offered the opportunity; I learnt loads of different skills about PR and Marketing that I am going to find useful in the future as well. Working at 'Enjoy work' proves that not all office jobs are boring; they can be exciting and fulfilling - enough to make you love your job!

Given our philosophy about enjoying work we think it's important that we work with local schools and community groups to skill-up and inspire the next generation of workers.

At secondary level we’ve developed a work experience programme. Together with Hounslow's business education charity, Spark! we’re working with more than 200 year 9 & 10 pupils from Chiswick School, every year. Guests and the Enjoy-Work team deliver training such as CV writing, mock interviews and networking. As well as gaining valuable employability skills, students who successfully complete the programme gain a qualification in Employability & Personal Skills. The corporate volunteers tell us they get a lot from participating too!

Being committed to job creation we have an ongoing apprenticeship programme, from which we've recruited permanent team members. In 2011 we launched an engineering apprenticeship scheme- open to Year 11 pupils at Chiswick School, to take our work experience programme to the next level. We have offered four-year, fully funded engineering apprenticeship placements.

Working in partnership with local primary schools Enjoy-Work provides recycling lessons - for pupils in years 4 & 5. The sessions include an explanation of the recycling methods used on the Park and a tour of our wormery to show the children how we recycle food waste.
